Layton Permanent Allotment Association, this year, decided to have a bonfire for plot holders.

Collecting wood from the site started the week before and building the bonfire - after checking for hibernating animals - began on the afternoon of the 5th.

With tea and coffee available from the tearoom, food was cooked on the allotment barbeque.

Fireworks were supplied by the plot holders and set off by the nominated responsible person.
