Open Day 2011
2011 the weather was wonderful and this years crops were very good. The Open Day was a great day.
With plenty of visitors to the site, they were able to view and tour the plots and purchase produce grown on site. A variety of stalls were available selling crafts, home made jams, chutneys and cakes. BBQ, tea, coffee and a variety of cold drinks were available. Visitors were also asked to vote for their favourite scarecrow.
Funds raised on the day were shared between the allotment and this years adopted charities, The RNLI and Air Ambulance.
